Sam Hill, mechanic Jacy and team boss Sean popped over to sunny Wales yesterday to try and add another title to the collection-fastest man down the 1.04. Things happen slowly around here though, theres a lot of tea to be drunk and chat to be chatted so it wasn’t till lunch time that the double World Champion finally got down to business and started putting some times on the board.
So, did he do it? What were the times? Well, you’ll find out later in the magazine, but before then there should be a video snippet on line, so keep tuned.
We had a bit of a sweep stake going about the predicted times. I think bogtrotting Victor Lucas won the jackpot, £3.65 is a lot of money for him.
We thought we’d treat our guests to a quiet night out at a local boozer, however the drunken Landlady at the pub had other ideas. From the moment she crashed into our table carrying a stack of Penthouse magazines through to telling the double world champion to “pedaal a bit more darlin and jarst f**king go for it” it all got a bit rowdy in end and no one quite knew what would happen next.
Believe it or not the Landlady writes for Penthouse, and proceeded to read out several articles aloud. Sean, Jacy and Sam weren’t entirely sure as to what the hell was going on.
