After injuries whittled down 2015’s field to just eight athletes, a bumper invite list has been announced for the 2016 Red bull Hardline.
19 riders will head to Wales to tackle the Dan Atherton designed course that includes some of the biggest jumps in downhill racing.
Last year Dan injured his shoulder in practice and Gee suffered a puncture in the finals after qualifying first for the second year in a row – hopefully both of their fortunes change this year.
The UK will be represented by last year’s winner, Ruaridh Cunningham along with Reece Wilson, Adam Brayton, Bernard Kerr, Craig Evans and Alex Bond.
Riders from top downhill teams such as GT Factory Racing, Bergamont Hayes, Devinci, Commencal and Pivot will also be in attendance and the FEST Series represented for the first time with Nico Vink dusting off his racing shoes to take on downhill’s toughest course.
