Joost Wichman got the snap out of the gate in the 4x finals only to come together with Roger Rinderknecht on the first corner also taking out Michal Prokop. Jared Graves looked like he was finally having some good luck, in possibly his last 4x race, and avoided the carnage but unbelievably picked up another rear flat (3rd flat of the year?) which left him dead last.
