Pearce Cycles at Ludlow can now announce details of their Summer DH Series.
With the winding up of the Midland Super Series, race organisers have now gone their separate ways.
Pearce Cycles ran the very successful Winter DH Series and are now following it up with a 4 round Summer Series. Although problems with course venues have delayed things, at least 2 venues are confirmed at this present moment.

Round 1 May 12/13 will be at Caersws, nr Newtown. Ian Jones, the landowner, has invited Pearce Cycles to use this popular venue.
Round 2 June 9/10 either at Bringewood or Rhyd y Felin. There is still uncertainty about Rhyd y Felin (Bala) as the fields at the bottom of the forest have been sold. Confirmation should be known very soon.
Round 3 30 June/1 July will be at Bringewood, Ludlow Various options for courses are available, we all have our favourite, but it could be the weather which finally makes the choice. The Midland Championships will be incorporated in this round as well.
Round 4 Sept 22/23 either at Hopton Castle or Bucknell, nr Knighton. Sensitive issues at Hopton put a big question mark on its use, if not available a new course will be used in Bucknell Wood.

Pearce Cycles are proud to announce some new sponsors for the Summer Series as well as some regular favourites.
Raleigh have generously agreed to contribute product from the Quad Technology and High 5 range. Five Ten are up for some shoes. Nice to see Descent Gear and Fenwicks on board again.

The races are British Cycling affiliated so will carry National ranking points. The best 3 of 4 rounds will count towards series winners.

As all rounds of the Winter Series filled up well in advance, early pre-entry to Summer Series is recommended.
