After an optimistic team arrived at Fort William, the rain decided to change everyones outlook and began flooding the pits. This set the tone for the 2015 Fort William BDS.
A wind battered hillside forced the gondola to close and a push up race was announced. This didn’t go down too well with the boys, but they still give it their all and Jacob landed himself on the podium once again and pulled off a tidy 2nd place.
“I got armpump the track was so long y’know.. but yeah 2nd place. 0.2 off first, happy in a way and I’m not happy in a way but I’m gonna take the positives away. Stoked to get a ride in with Isak too, it’s great to have him on the team.”

Phil decided to ditch the downhill bike completely and opt for the Five to tackle the bottom half of Fort William this weekend. A bold choice most would say, but after fitting some a beastly 180mm X Fusion fork, the little Five was ready to go.
“It is what it is, the weather wasn’t great and we only got to ride from the Silverline Wallride. It just gave me a good excuse to crack out the Five so I was pretty happy about that. My run was alright, just stood a turn up in the middle which messed me up a tad. On to the EWS in Ireland now to show them how it’s done!”

Our new rider Isak Leivsson has seemed to settle in on the new 324 perfectly well – opting to throw an extended nac over the revamped Fort William Motorway, and having a great laugh with the boys.
“First weekend on the new bike and new team and I’m loving it, shame we didn’t get to do many runs seeing as the track was closed. Felt great on the bike and just had to get on with the race I guess, what can you do, stoked to be back here for the World Cup.”
