Night time enduro racing returns to Llandegla

A totally different ball game

Now here’s an event that brings a whole new definition to the term “racing blind”

Mini Enduro’s Night Enduro is heading back Llandegla on November 12 and its going bigger and better than before. The course has four stages that can be raced as many times as you like in four hours. The course length is 15 miles but that will obviously increase the more times you do each stage.

Finish the night with a bacon sarnie from One Planet Adventure and you’re on to a winner. Lights are, of course, mandatory, why not have a look at the new Xeccon models for inspiration.

From Mini Enduro: “Going bigger and better for 2016, the Night Enduro will run a Mash Up format meaning that you can ride each of the 4 stages as many times as you can to get a winning time. There are no transition times, no penalties and no pressure. It’s all about having a blast on Llandegla’s great trails and riding with your mates … with the added twist of racing in the dark.

“Riders can enter from the age of 16 with dedicated categories for eBikes and hardtails. No license is needed to race and riders are welcome to run full or open face helmets. Lights are, of course, a must!

Llandegla boasts over 44km of top quality, fun, flowing singletrack. Chris and his team have picked 4 great stages that will challenge the best whilst staying fun and rideable for everyone. The course is around 15miles for a single lap and the Mash Up format means that the final distance is up to you.

“There will be living timing from Action Sports Timing throughout the night and riders will be able to see live stage times on their phones as they race or on the big-screen back at base camp.

“One Planet Adventure Llandegla will remain open throughout the night and riders can drop back into base between stages to sample their award winning bacon butties, check their times on the screen or to use the well stocked bike shop.

The race will be held at:

Coed Llandegla Forest
Ruthin Rd
Llandegla
Denbighshire
LL11 3AA
