On the 13th of November 2011 the 3rd annual Montenbaik Enduro Cup took place in Chile. Montenbaik Enduro is the only one of its kind in South America. This year riders from more than four different countries took part in this race. There were three timed stages on a challenging 35-kilometer route at the foot of the Andes Mountains, where more than 150 riders struggled up and down steep hills.

Montenbaik.com organized the event and are more than happy with the results this year. “We almost doubled the numbers of riders this year and everybody was very happy at the end of the race”, said Eduardo de Solminihac founder of Montenbaik.com. “Our goal is to bring this sport to everyone that enjoys riding bikes and having fun” added Philippe Duclos co-founder of Montenbaik.com.

One of the best things at Montenbaik Enduro is how the riders feel, “The riders are relaxed without stress and there is great camaraderie between all the participants before, during, and after the race,” said Ignacio Barbosa producer of this event. Nicolas Prudencio, from Team Giant, took first place in the Elite Category, while the Argentinian team Zenith, took the first three places in MASTER A category, proving that Chile is not the only country in South America where Enduro is growing fast.
