While we’re waiting for the riders to turn up, here’s some random facts from the press room.

The freebies available here are an ecletic mix. First up you’ve got some dried spaghetti from the USA, could use them for spokes maybe?
Then you have some armpit spray because journalists can be sweaty beasts you know.
A selection of pens are available the best one comes from the Swiss Cheese Marketing Board.

Also up for grabs are a selection of laundry detergents and shampoos, because journalists are worth it. We want to look good and smell good.

Check out these crisps or Croustilles aux legumes as they’re called (vegetable chips). whatever they are you don’t get many at all. Count them, theres nine in this packet. Hardly worth putting in a bag eh?
