Maxxis Rubber Side Down | Episode Three

The latest episode of Rubber side down from Maxxis takes in Fort William and Leobanger. The team bus comparison test is clearly won by Eddie Masters with his luxurious Italian leather Transit interior and amazing 40 inch reality TV set, literally no expense spared on the Bergamont Hayes bus. At the other end of the scale is the Commencal team bus with a steering wheel and a lot of stickers. Joking aside their bus is pretty sweet, it’s massive and has space for kit, bikes, mechanics and everyone to hang out in during the day. They even invested in a midge net to keep the little buggers out in Scotland!

Talking to the the riders they seem to be big fans of the Minion DH tyres, having tried the High Rollers Myriam Nicole seemed to prefer the Minion and as Eddie Masters only spends $5 at a time in the casino he can’t really justify the money spinner’s tyre. Jack Moir is on the High Roller 2 and seemed to like reduced rolling resistance of that over a Minion.

The Maxxis riders had a good weekend overall with Myriam Nicole being their best placed rider in 2nd.
