…and we have just heard some amazing news. Here are the stats for this year: There are 1400 competitors from 19 different countries, but get this, 34% of the entrants are from the UK, that is 476 riders. Amazing. The Brit turnout is second only to the French, at 38%.
In fact in 2006 45% of the entrants were from foreign countries, but in 2007 63% of the entry will be foreign.
It is going to be great.
