There’s good news if you can’t make it to the World Championships in Fort William. Dirt will be providing live video footage from the 4x tonight at 8.00pm and live coverage of the Downhill on Sunday from 12.30pm, check out the bottom right hand side of the dirt site.

Also the BBC will be beaming in live pictures to your telly on Sunday from 14.00pm to 16.00pm on BBC 2 no less, thats blumin marvellous. Expect some expert commentary from Master Champ Nigel Page.

So for a perfect set up switch your telly on, log on to Dirt then smear yourself in midge cream and crack open a tin of Haggis and you’ll almost be there yourself
