Bikepark Groningen Foundation presents for the First time in it’s history a multiple extreme mountainbike event: the Fujitsu Siemens Computers King of the Hill. On Sunday the 26th of August 2007 the final of the Dutch Fourcross Series will be ridden, a Dutch Champion will be crowned and the first King of Slopestyle will stand up. So: one day, two extreme mountain bike disciplines, three different competitions and all at Bikepark Groningen.
In association with the Royal Dutch Cycling Union (KNWU) Bikepark Groningen Foundation organises the official Dutch Championship fourcross and the finals of the Dutch Fourcross Series (D4XS) on Sunday the 26th of August 2007. The Dutch Championship and the finals of the D4XS will be held during the same race. Only racers with official KNWU licences can win the title of Dutch Champion in the categories Men, Women and Juniors. For the third time in a row riders will compete for this unique title. Only the question remains who will be the next heir(ess) to the throne.
After the finales of the D4XS it will be clear who can call itself the best rider of the Dutch Fourcross Series. Like during all the races of the D4XS there will be three categories: Men, Women and Juniors. In all the overall standings a view riders are really close to each other and all racers will do anything to win this special title.
To make the weekend even more spectacular a new Dutch mountain bike discipline is introduced: the MTB Slopestyle! Next to the fourcross track of Bikepark Groningen a Slopestyle course will be build with everything you can expect from a slopestyle course including: drops and big jumps where riders can throw down there best tricks.
All Dirt Jumpers and Freeriders are welcome to show there tricks during the first Slopestyle event in the Netherlands. The riders of the Fujitsu Siemens Computers King of Slopestyle will be judged on altitude, style, tricks and flow trough out the whole course. The rider that collects the most points will be crowned with the title: King of Slopestyle the First!
