Remember that super exclusive Hope competition we ran way back in Dirt issue #100? I think you just had to answer a super easy question like spell badger or something. Chris Halshaw was the lucky winner, but unluckily for him crashed heavily at the Megavalanche back in July so has only just begun putting the goodies on his bike and sent us these photos.
“I haven’t touched the bike since breaking my wrist and foot at the Mega, so I got it built up and took it for a spin round the Surrey hills now that I’m all healed. Not exactly the best terrain, but nice singletrack and some good fun in the mud! Thanks again for the kit, it looks fantastic on my Commencal. I havent got it all on yet, as the stem’s a bit short for trail riding but i shall have it on for a trip to cwmcarn!”
