The greatest just got greater. Greg Minnaar has won a second consecutive Fort William World Cup putting down a masterclass in precision to conquer a deteriorating track and beat the rest of the field by more than three seconds.
Greg Minnaar Victory
After a weak qualification yesterday, Minnaar took to the hot seat early and saw off all challengers to claim his 19th World Cup win. Danny Hart and Aaron Gwin came closest, but in truth the time of Minnaar was never really troubled.
Top qualifiers Gee Atherton and Eddie Masters both crashed in the top section, effectively ending their challenges before they’d begun.
