Finale Ligure Superenduro Final

The Superenduro final at Finale is lining up to be a spectacular end of the season race!

We’re doing a feature on this Italian epic in the magazine so keep your potatoes/eyes peeled for that one. Here’s the story:

We are at the end of this incredible Superenduro powered by SRAM 2011 season, full of thrills and surprises. The only step missing is the final stage and you can bet that it will be amazing!

The World Enduro top riders will meet at Finale Ligure on 23-24 October to take part in this unmissable PRO stage, which has all the credentials to be already a legendary race. Even more now that the recognition of the discipline is no longer an exclusive of the Italian Federation, but also the UCI has recently announced plans to enter the Enduro World Cup.

Nobody wants to miss Finale Ligure and the entries are already huge including a large group of the top players of the Vibram E-MTN 2011 that want to be part of this experience: the Superenduro Gran Finale.

There will be the Enduro Nations winner Jerome Clemenz, the world champion Nicolas Vouilloz, who wants to take a revenge after the unfortunate flat tire which slowed him down in Sauze, his team-mate Karim Amour and Gregory Doucende.

For the first time at a Superenduro race, the national hero Marco Aurelio Fontana, top rider of the cross country World Cup, the French Remy Abslalon, the first pilot full time dedicated to enduro, Simon Andrè, who just won the Masters category of the DH French championship, and from Canada, the freeride legend Richie Schley!

But we can’t forget the battle for the title of Superenduro 2011 Champion, so tough during this season.
Italian pros as Andrea Bruno, Davide Sottocornola, Vittorio Gambirasio, Marco Rodolico, Alex Lupato and Manuel Ducci, will race hard to bring home the victory and keep their wheels in front of the big international names!

Some international confirmations also beside the women lines, with Anne Caroline Chausson BMX Olympic gold medalist and 9 time DH world champion (from ‘96 to 2005) and the French specialist Pauline Dieffenthaler.
Finale Ligure will be the end of this fantastic Superenduro season, as usual an unique experience!
