Here’s a Caersws vid from last year to get you in the mood. Actually there’s a whole heap of Caersws vids right here if you fancy?

From Birmingham:
Leave the M6 at junction 10a, then join the M54 motorway.
Continue forward onto the A5 then pick up the signs for Welshpool.
Just before Welshpool there is a traffic blackspot! You will see a Little Cheef on your left before you hit the bridge.
SLOW DOWN TO 20MPH OR YOU WILL END UP ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD AND POSSIBLY A HEAD ON COLLISION.
Then Newtown and then head towards Machynlleth and Caersws, turning right on the A470 just before the railway crossing. Please be careful of oncoming traffic over the bridge into Caersws. The race venue will be well signposted for the event and is 1.5 miles outside of Caersws just before the bridge.
Turn right just before the bridge (Be careful) then the first left and up the steep and narrow tarmac road one way system before turning right into the field. To exit the field drive down onto the gravel road (one way system) and exit.
If you have a large motorhome or camper very limited parking on hardstanding road on the left hand side only is availalble for you on the middle fire road upto the quarry where the uplift starts. Please note you will not be able to pop your awning out as we need the road clear for the tractors and emergency vehicles.
Caersws village itself has two pubs, post office, chip shop, petrol station and a Spar supermarket.
