Remember that race in Kenya last year, where a whole load of mountainbike pros led by Fabian Barel, hiked up a mountain and raced down again?
Well it’s on again this year but it’s in Nepal instead and called “Urge Nepal” and takes place from Februray 26th to March 6th.

Essentially it’s a race but the main reason is to raise money for charities in Nepal.

Riders that are confirmed to be racing are: Sabrina Jonnier, Fabien Barel, René Wildhaber, Alex Balaud, Sam Peridy, Nicolas Vouilloz, Simone Zaniboni, Olivier Giordanengo, Maurin Trocello, Greg Doucende, Darren Berrecloth, Chris Van Dine and finally a local Nepalese rider called Kumar.
