After reading Dirt’s exclusive on the Trek wind tunnel test, scientist Seb Kemp decided to test skin suits in the Whistler wind tunnel

Seb Kemp follows in the footsteps of naked Czech models promoting animal rights campaigns and enters Whistlers famous Phat Wednesday Chainless A-line wind tunnel.

Seb Kemp has just conducted extensive testing in the Whistler wind tunnel that is used by the punters and major huckers ahead of the forthcoming World Championships in Australia. His goal was to simultaneously blend the repulsively revealing properties of skinsuits with the (mis) guided fashionability of pyjama suits.

Setting out to establish some hard facts on the varying levels of drag resulting from changes in amount of clothes it is decent to wear in public, Seb Kemp has gained an invaluable body of information that will be used by both the riders and product managers. It’s very likely that the tests will have an immediate affect on race strategies and might well eventually lead to changes in downhill attire.

Seb Kemp brought the whole shit show to last Wednesdays final Phat Wednesday race of the year, including all the aerodynamic properties of a well greased pig and the careful paint brush strokes of a team of body paint artists . When skinsuits were banned the rules stated that it referred to “tight fitting attire”. Well the loop hole Seb Kemp found is why even wear attire? Instead use a very thin layer of protective body paint…

180 racers, most of them in some state of fancy dress, or undress.
its the last Phat Wednesday of the summer so its a massive mega fest of community, friendship, and riding which is celebrated by racing ridiculously all evening then hitting the legendary GLC bar afterwards for liquid refreshments.
