South West steeps

If you like it tech then it might be time to plan a road trip down to the South West. Gawton has a brand new trail open and it looks steeper than a 90’s XC bike’s headtube.

The trail starts off on Super Tavi (that hosted the Dirt 1:04 for a while) but cuts off before the second road gap into a world of burl. It’s hard to show from the photos and videos, but we reckon this could be England’s steepest trail.

Keep your eyes on Gawton though, an as yet unnamed Track Six is rumoured to rival Llangollen Woods in terms of steepness!

There’s more than this been going on at Gawton though. There’s also a recently completed Rattler jump line put in by Fest rider Jasper Flashman:

If you fancy a road trip down to the South West, there’s an uplift provided by FlyUp and a well surfaced push up track – just make sure you buy your day pass first!
