It’s with a heavy heart that, for this season at least, we announce DirtTV will no longer be coming to you from the UCI World Cup downhill series.

The facts are that Red Bull own the media rights to the series and thus have restricted our access, only film crews associated with teams are able to film on the hill.

The situation is out of our control but it does give us the opportunity to do something new and different. We’ll still be covering the racing in our galleries and reports so keep your eyes out for them.

We have some top notch downhill ideas in the pipeline that will take a look at racing and riding from a different angle and we will still be covering the Enduro World Series. We will also be following the Dirt Orange World Team at some events and making sure you get an insight into what it’s like inside a World Cup race team. Even if we can’t shoot the action we will have our man on the ground Wyn Masters getting some pit Chit Chat which as we all know will be entertaining.

Here’s to 2014 and another banger of a season.
