Jonesy told me he’d heard about this lad he thought was called something like Dai Plaice from Swansea who could do front-flip-whips and had only been riding mountain bikes for 6 months.

“Let’s go and meet him” Said Jonesy.

“It’s raining” I said

“Apparently it’s sunny in Swansea” he said.

“Oh and I’ve buggered my ankle so can’t walk on it” I added.

“The trails are only a two minute cycle from the road” He said.

So we set off to Swansea.
It was raining when we arrived, the trails were wet and miles from the road and Dai Plaice (who was actually called Danny Pace) hadn’t yet perfected the front flip whip on dirt, but apart from those minor details we had a great day out.
