Dirt Office news

What do an Intense old and new a bottle of Yazoo and a Polish calender have in common? Well they all passed through the doors of the Dirt office today.

Jonesy went riding bikes at the weekend and took with him the 1999 Kawasaki Intense M1 that he used to race on back in the day, but now owned by local work shy builder Jonny Boy.

Here he is ragging it in a feature in Dirt 14 back in March/April 1999, nearly ten years ago.

Designer Jon and Jones having a serious tasting session on the Dirt couch with these new milky drinks called Yazoo. A full body, fruity nose and suitable for vegetarians that’s enough about those two, the drinks not bad either.

The bumpf reckons that “YAZOO milkshake now contains real fruit juice, is low in fat and packed with calcium and vitamin B – and it doesn’t contain any added colours or preservatives. It is a tasty and cheap alternative to expensive energy drinks with a 500ml bottle costing only £0.85.”

Yazoo only means one thing to me because I’m old enough to remember 80’s Essex duo Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet.

Nacz from Poland sent us this calender. That shriveled camels testicle on the right of the picture is my baked potato which somebody thought was funny if they turned the microwave on to max power for 30 mins.
