Training was disrupted today by a long course hold due to crashes in the B-practice session. Still most of the big names managed to get a run in and you can see how it shakes down below.
As always it’s tough to read much in to these, but it’s safe to say it’s going to be close at the top with very few opportunities to make time on a fast course. The track was hit with overnight rain but it’s worth noting these times are still a good 20 seconds quicker than last year’s winning times.
Unfortunately Cairns seems to be suffering from low rider numbers, with only seven juniors, nine women and 55 men setting a time (this would normally be 10 juniors, 20 women and 80 men).
