Joe Horton has recently finished a photography project documenting the lifestyle of professional downhill racer Bernard Kerr. It follows him through his final preparation and training and on to Spain for the Vigo bike contest.

It features the biggest aspects of his training with time on the road bike, motor bikes, gym sessions and downhill training. Joe wanted the project to be very personal to the feelings and stresses involved with this dream lifestyle and so has included a few intimate portraits which try to show the exhaustion a professional athlete can feel.
