The new Atherton Racing website has launched and Rachel Atherton gives an emotional insight into both her crash at Leogang and the subsequent recovery.

“So, the old shoulder dislocation rears its ugly head again. At least it wasn’t my ‘bad’ shoulder from last year, so that is good. My physio is some boy, he works at a certain rugby club in manchester, and shoulder injuries are his game. Going to physio and the gym with all these huge strapping rugby guys, i feel like a right little wimp i tell you! But they are all really inspiring and reading about how to get the highest testosterone levels in the canteen is hilarious!! ”

Dan Atherton sounds like he still has his sense of humour despite having a brace bolted to his skull after his nasty DJ crash.
His latest Twitter update says:” Just fell into a morphine sleep with a bottle of pee in my hand,huge dream/action twitch and threw the piss all over my self…”
