Andrew Neethling parts company with Polygon UR

New tracks for Needles

Andrew Neethling has today announced he will be leaving the Polygon UR team for 2017.

The announcement comes just days after Polygon announced it had signed Scottish privateer Kenta Gallagher.

Needles posted on his social media: “I want to send a huge thanks for the support and good times over the last 2 years. I will be moving on and am super excited about the future!

“Can’t wait to release more news. Will miss my team mates Mick Hannah, Tracey Hannah and Alexandre Fayolle. Thanks to Jonty Neethling for keeping bikes dialled and me motivated! Cheers to the team sponsors.”

The two-time Dirt cover star picked up a handful of World Cup podiums while riding for Giant but was not quite able to recapture that form on Polygon. In two injury-strewn years, his best result was a 30th at Fort William.

Neethling now joins a glut of talented riders who are all waiting to announce their new rides. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for 2017.
