Andes Pacifico 2015 | Entries Open
The Andes Pacifico 2015 is open for business and the team at Montenbaik.com are awaiting your entries to one of the toughest races out there. Dirt headed to Chile last year for the race and took Adam Brayton along to see how he would fare in his first enduro race and the results were definitely mixed! The notion of ‘anti-grip’ was coined out in Chile and seemingly the terrain gave a few rides, including Brayton some problems.
If you want to find out exactly what the Andes Pacifico is all about then check out the film we made out there last year with Aaron Bartlett. Steve Jones also headed out to Chile early last year to follow the race and you can read his take on the event right here. Over the course of four days the riders were sent on long liaison stages and battled high altitude trails to finish on the beach after setting off from over 3000m up in the Andes.
Over the course of the trip the guys caught up with the race organisers in their first update and before we lost radio contact as a Condor stole the internet we got this report from Day One.
