2014 Enduro World Series Round 3 | Day 1 Results

Day one in the steep ski valley of Valloire, France saw some interesting developments. Amidst the breathtaking views and epic backdrops, riders tackled some physical stages, jagged rocks, steep forestry and unforgiving terrain.

Series leader, Nico Lau punctured on stage two but came back in the last stage 12 seconds faster, but was bested by Justin Leov by 17 seconds at the end of the day. Martin Maes suffered a puncture on the final stage.

Justin Leov is currently in the lead followed by teammate, Rene Widhaber. Jared Graves finished in third.

Cecile Ravanel was yet another rider to get a puncture putting her in 4th today.  In the women’s, Tracy Moseley won all three stages, Anne Caroline Chausson finished 2nd and Anneke Beerten finished in 3rd.

The Trek Factory Enduro team are the current team leaders at the end of day one. Justin Leov and Tracy Moseley go into day two in the lead, but anything could happen with more challenges ahead tomorrow.
