I keep hearing the whacker-whacker guitar riff of Isaac Hayes and Shaft when I hear about this Sheffield film festival, Shaff. Anybody else get that?
Anyway, big news at ShAFF this year is that amongst many other MTB films that they’re showing (check the list out here) they will have an exclusive free UK premiere of the full highlights from the 2012 Red Bull Rampage.
Yep, Red Bull is hosting a freebie outdoor cinema at this year’s Sheffield Adventure Film Festival offering everyone the opportunity to watch an amazing double bill, you get a Ryan Doyle parkour film thrown in too.
WHERE: Amphitheatre South Street Park, above Sheffield train station (S1 2BP)
DATE / TIME: 18.00-20.00 Sat 2 March
COST: Free admission!
Sheffield Adventure Film Festival Director Matt Heason on Cityscape Cinema:
“Ever since plans were announced for an amphitheatre just across the road from ShAFF’s home at the Showroom Cinema I’d hoped we could put on a really special event there. We’re delighted Red Bull are helping us make that dream a reality. The Cityscape Cinema promises to be an unforgettable evening.
“From our point of view it’s a great partnership – ShAFF’s growing in popularity every year. Red Bull has gained a reputation for producing extremely high quality adventure films. Their sponsorship programme enables a huge range of extreme sports athletes to fulfil their talent.”
