EWS Samoens 2015 Day 1 Bumper Gallery
After the first day of racing in Samoens, France, 'The Alien' Nicolas Vouilloz has finally found his enduro form and is holding strong in the men's, while Tracy Moseley is absolutely dominant in the women's.
It’s been a wild day with the weather turning grim in the morning and flooding the pits before returning to glorious sunshine and ridiculous temperatures. Tyre choice has been key, with somewhat of a gamble on conditions.
It was somewhat of a clunky morning with injuries (get well soon) and the weather causing delays that eventually led to the cancellation of the second run of Stage 2. We head into Day 2 of racing on the edges of our seats – will the 10 time Downhill World Champion gain his first ever EWS victory? And surely Moseley is untouchable with her lead of over 1min 30sec?
