I’ve been chatting to Becky at the media tent, shes in charge of keeping the hacks happy with tea,coffee, biscuits and donuts. Theres about 150+journos here and they daily get through about 10 gallons of coffee, 2 tons of donuts and half a hundred weight of biscuits. You should see them, its a frightening sight, its like a big fat eating machine. The Germans are the worst with an average of 10 donuts per person per day, the Russians have been seen pocketing the marmalade sachets, while the Columbian hacks have brought there own powdery snacks.
