I though that by splashing out on a newish van that I would be free from mechanical problems. Not so, last week the exhaust fell off and now the starter motor has packed in. I tell you what, trying to get the starter out was a blumin nightmare, everything is jammed in so tightly on these modern engines that you need the skills of a surgeon to remove anything.
So I’ve got a new one to go in, touch some wood, it’ll all go back together tonight and I’ll be mobile again.
