Run to the Hills Day 3: Team DMR

This berm is massive, it’s not that Needles has shrunk.

For day 3 of Run to the Hills from XS Power Drink the boys from DMR went for a classic, Jimmy Pratt’s trails. Sculpted from the finest dirt and shaped into some of the best looking jumps this fair isle has to offer Jimmy’s trails are the stuff of legend. Unwrapping these beasts is like opening the best birthday present ever, Jimmy normally styles these lines on his 24″ bike but today an extra 2 inches rolled into the woods.

Could these trails be any more rad? Pansies and everything down at Jimmy’s spot.

With some serious dirt jump specialists on the team today was bound to be interesting. We caught up with Olly who gave us a run down of what happened today.

Sam Reynolds – Flip Whip

Ray Samson – Flip Tuck No Hander

Brendan Fairclough – stitches to the chin…

It seem Bren got a little wild and crashed into Chris Seager and his posh camera, luckily for Chris the camera is ok but not lucky for Brendan that he was off to hospital to get his chin stitched back together. He might have to take it easy for the last couple of days!

Not rad, Fairclough’s chin gash.

After this incident it was decided to call it a day at the jumps and the beast that is Jimmy’s spot was put to bed once again.

Wrapped up tight, some of the UK’s best dirt jumps are put to bed.

The sun came out for team DMR today and the whole crew relaxed with a few cold ones after a busy day at the trails. Hopefully Brendan is ok and Seager has managed to clean the blood from his camera! We will be back tomorrow with more from the team so make sure to hit us up tomorrow and check the #dirtrtth tag on Twitter.
