The team from Hotlines has a mixed bag of team members, two dirt jumpers and World Cup DH racers. With Sam and Grant getting their kicks yesterday it was time to hit a quarry near Salisbury today to get some shots down and filming bagged. Time to get their huck on!
Sam Pilgrim getting his big bike setup, yes the quarry is near a council estate.
With Sam heading out to the Red Bull Rampage straight after this trip it seemed like a perfect opportunity to drop a few bombs in the quarry. Chris Smith was on hand to give some pointers to Sam on where to land in the quarry and he posted this picture on Facebook earlier today.
What, all the way down there?
With the whole team taking on the challenge of the quarry and no doubt egging each other on to hit bigger and bigger stuff it seems that Al Bond could be on for a career move according to Twitter.
With the quarry senders all completed it was time to head off, Joe Smith had been riding his Nukeproof Rook all day and was keen to show it a good time. The team headed to Tidworth to see if there was anything worth shooting but if that failed it seems they can always entertain themselves with a mini bike, plastic booter and a multi storey car park.
After some food it was back on the road as the team aimed for a local Salisbury landmark for the last shots of the day. Tomorrow there is talk of heading closer to Wales ready to get into the valley’s in plenty of time for Friday’s finish at Dirt HQ.
Keep up with the guys on Twitter with the hashtag #dirtrtth and check back tomorrow for more of the goings on from Team Hotlines.
