Hey, it s August the first and at last the sun is shining, maybe thats why there is a regime change at Dirt HQ. For starters , out go the lardy cakes and coffee, and in comes Cantalupe melons, malt loaf and water. Jeepers Mike has even started cycling in, if he picks the right route he can get one downhill run on the way in, and another on the way home.
the other news item is that there was a break in at the Dirt chicken coupe, and unfortunately Nico Vouilloz was eaten by what we think was either a weasel or stoat. The other chickens are understandably shaken, but has not affected the laying of eggs.
