Rather than re-tread the same ground as three Pure Darkness films and last year’s DarkFest, Sam Reynolds has moved his jumps wholesale across South Africa to just outside Cape Town.
The new course is no less of a monster, clinging to a craggy hillside with views over vinyards and the Stellenbosch mountains. Even as Fest series venues go, this one is pretty special.
As for the course itself, well here’s the kind of numbers we’re looking at:
Sam Reynolds, Nico Vink and Clemens Kaudela built the huge set up that will be destroyed by Adolf Silva, Cam Zink, Kyle Strait, Ethan Nell, Nicholi Rogatkin, Carson Storch, Jordie Lunn Brendan Fairclough and Dj Brandt, who all threw down over the weekend.
As the internet isn’t great out there, we’ve only got some warm up shots to show you but expect a full round up later in the week.
