With the old Caddy running out of battery juice every other day leaving me stranded in a new place each time asking for help from strangers, I thought it was high time I tried to fix the problem.

I had a root around on Ebay and found a suitable looking alternator, so I bought it. Believe it or not this is the first time I have ever bought something ever off Ebay…ha….and could be the last.

For starters it turned up slightly broken, then even after the bloke said it was the right one, it turned out to be the wrong one.

So that leaves me still limping along with a comical two-battery setup, I can’t go out at night and I have to park on hills.

Oh, you might of heard that the Caddy got a slight pimping, well she did. I’ll put a photo up as soon as I take one.
