It’s the unofficial-underground-covert-hardtail-championships at Mynydd Du this weekend, I had this big plan that I’d go up there every weekend push to the top and practise every inch of the track. I’d have my bike prepped and ready to go weeks before the event. Come race day it would just be a formality of cruising down and winning the coverted denim jacket.
No chance, but it’s good to dream.
I did do two runs on an up lift day, then got two holes in my Hutchinson sidewalls and burnt the last mill of pad from my brake pads.

The Dialled is looking pretty sorry for herself at the mo, no tyres or brakes. Time is running out to get the old girl sorted, but I’ve got the trusty Trailstar as a back up if need be.
