I watched a documentary on Metallica the other day and it made me all misty eyed.

Cliff Burton was one reason I started playing the bass as a teenager.

I spent 6 months trying to learn that bastard Anesthesia-Pulling teeth, Cliffs monster bass solo.

So listening to the program brought back all the memories from the early days of Kill em all and Ride the Lightning.
