After the first snowfall here, I feel every day we get to ride bikes is a bonus. We got a few bonus days last week at the pump track. After some bailing out, Tyler set the record for consecutive laps by doing 100 even after repeated ass slaps and several viewings of Jordies bat wing. The pump track makes me feel like a 700 pound infant on a bike. It’s a hell of a workout. Pump track regular and general mountain man Kevin Phelps created a new tool ( called the Phelps ) to rake pack and smash anything you want. Its awesome and weights more than me. Brandon Semenuk has some jumps there that go right through the middle of the track and he treated us to some tuck no hander 3’s and a few flip whips. Flip whips are insane. He’s a freak. We also made it down to the city for a few adventure laps and my first ever $10 coffee. It came on a silver platter. The mountain opens here for winter operations tomorrow. There’s going to be a lot of happy clowns shuffling around here.
