Since we featured this bike in last year’s guide I have witnessed it climb hills that I have failed on before, ridden down insane slopes and hills in Italy that I couldn’t walk down and dealt with all manner of ‘normal’ trail riding in–between. It performed so well, we were glad to see that it remained unchanged for 2010 bar a few components and the colour scheme. The Pitch truly is a testament to the ability of Specialized to produce a price point bike that is within reach of most people and capable of truly amazing things out on the trail.
