Point One Racing are proving to be pretty innovative with their new component range. Their Podium pedals caught our eye when we first saw photographs of them, and when they landed in the office there was an instant ‘oooh’ from the geek in us. Every little detail has been considered and addressed with these, from the four sealed bearings, the tapered axle, allowing a super slim body and increased ground clearance, to the almost excessive machining bringing the weight down below what you would expect for a pedal of this type. We’ve yet to subject this pedal to a full year of British grit and mud, but so far we love them and they are running perfectly.
