Fox 34 Float 29

As far as 29er forks go, there is no reason to look any further than the 34 from Fox. Having previously suffered reliability issues, Fox have really upped their game in the last two years and problems with their unique F.I.T. damping system seem to have been addressed.

Reliability aside though, there is no denying Fox’s buttery-smooth travel, a quality fully encompassed in this air-sprung 34. The distinctive golden Kashima coating does more than pimp your ride, it is one of the reasons that the brand’s forks are so supple, aided also by simple but effective internals. At the moment no one else has managed to get a good mix of ride-height and performance for 29er forks, and for that reason the 34 wins hands down.

From a practicality point of view, the 34’s lock-out lever and adjustable lock-out level (allowing you to fine tune the harshness of the effect the lock-out has when switched on) make them a great addition to any trail/all-mountain bike and the super stiff, user-friendly 15QR axle rounds off a great package.
