For us riding bikes means having fun, and this frame knows nothing else. Yes you can race 4X on it if you want, or compete in slopestyle or dirt jump competitions on it, but if it’s best suited to anything then we reckon it’s just good old fashioned pissing about. Isn’t that what most of us like doing anyway?
It’s light enough to take out on a longer ride, but then it’s also strong enough to deal with that mental huck to flat that you might spot along the way. Basically if you find something the Double will throw its hand at it, and you’ll want to do it again. With just 80 or 100mm of travel nothing is ever boring, you’re always kept on your toes, but on the same hand (or should I say foot?) it also provides just enough of a cushioning to save you from those ‘moments’.
It’s one of the few bikes where you rarely feel either over or under biked, instead you just want to go and rip the shit out of whatever bit of ground is in front of you. Ace fun.
