A great aggressive, tubeless ready 50/50 trail tyre this WTB 2.3 Moto Race. The dual compound means the harder centre square edged knobbles give a relatively good rolling efficiency while the outer softer tusks offer tremendous amount of traction through corners, biting the grip from off–camber sections even in the shittiest of conditions.

The grip is predictable and reassuring delivering maximum confidence on wet descents over rock and root but particularly soft loam. They also perform well in the dry and dust too making it a tyre I’m tempted to leave on year round, depending on wear. Though for dry enduro race situations I may possibly swap to a faster rolling tyre for pure speed.
All in all I’d say definitely up there with the Specialized Storm Control and Bontrager XR Mud for a trustworthy wet/dry trail tyre.
