Stanton Switchback Ti full builds available now
We all have some sort of love affair with our bikes, sneaking off the just check she is alright in the shed or making sure the last trickle of chain lube hasn’t dribbled on to the floor and been licked up by the cat. It’s an odd relationship but one that we all have to some degree or another, some have linkages to clean and shocks to care for too. If you are in the camp of a stiffer back end then you may be thinking of setting your sights on the dizzying heights of a Titanium frame, and that is something you will polish, then the new Swithcback could be right up your street. They might be knocking on the door of £6K for the top end build but then again it will last you a lifetime and you could always just get a frame and wang your old bits on!
We saw the details of the Stanton Switchback Ti a couple of weeks back but Dan Dan the Stanton man has been on the blower this morning with details of their full builds. Now spending over £5k on a hardtail may sounds crackers but there are build kits and rolling chassis kits available too. All the info is here and nice gallery of shiny photos for you to swoon over too, aren’t we good to you? Here’s the word from Dan Stanton…
Stanton Switchback Ti
After a couple of years of designing and testing we’ve finally finished our benchmark frame the Switchback Ti, to celebrate it we took our resident Pinner Dan Bateson (world cup 4X pro elite rider) to ride the Ultimate version or our complete bike available through our website (Ti complete with the carbon-king upgrade) to last stage of the Afan Enduro and the new(ish) Afan bike park with Joe and Matt from Capta Media. It was the absolute definition of living in a cloud, continually grey and wet with absolutely no letup. We had two water damaged cameras (one of them being an FS700!) and even with waterproofs on we were wet and cold to the core. Although the conditions were demoralising this didn’t stop Dan performing to a seriously high level and ever time we looked at the footage huddled round Joe and Matts camera our sprits were instantly lifted! I want to say thank you to everyone involved in producing this video and I hope you guys enjoy the final cut.
