Here’s another sweet hardtail to add to your list of possible candidates. It’s made from super tough 4130 Chromoly, yet it weighs in at a respectable 6.4lbs meaning you could easily build this up for a variety of duties. There’s even provisions for both a front and rear mech despite the horizontal dropouts, although you can’t fit anything but a disc brake (not too much of a problem). There’s plenty of tyre clearance, and with three different length top tubes on offer (21”, 22” &23”) everyone should be able to get one of these to fit. It also comes complete with a 2 year warranty and a lifetime crash replacement scheme, all for a more than reasonable price.
