This new degreaser from Muc–Off ticks all the boxes. For starters it’s highly effective in cutting through even the most encrusted filth, and yet it’s also biodegradable and won’t harm metal, plastic or rubber seals. The fact that it also comes in a simple pump–action bottle is great too, as this means you can use it like you would a spray can of degreaser (but without the need for propellant), i.e. get it into all those hard to reach places, plus you can unscrew the top and then pour it into a chain cleaner. It should cover all your degreasing needs, and whilst it might seem fairly pricy a little goes a long way so it should last you for ages.
