KORE OCD BARS AND REPUTE STEM
Kore already make some great bars and stems but they’re never one to rest on their laurels, so they’re about to release these new offerings. For the bars they’ve gone for butted 7050–T6 aluminium to help achieve the best possible strength to weight ratio, and at 323g for an 800mm wide bar they definitely are light. Shape wise you get 5° of upsweep and 7° of backsweep, plus there’s a choice of 0, 20, or 35mm rise. For colours it’s either red, black or grey.
The Repute stem has again been designed to offer loads of strength at a low weight and to achieve that the bulk of the forming work is done via forging and then excess material and finer detail is dealt with via CNC work. Like the bars it will only be available with an oversize 31.8mm bar clamp, but you do get a choice of either 35 or 50mm reach. Weight is 167g for the 50mm and it will only be available in black. Pricing on both items is yet to be confirmed but we’d expect them to be very competitive.
