CORSAIR CROWN
We thought we’d give you a little sneak peak at one of the bikes that we’ll have a full test on in the next issue, and so here it is, the Corsair Crown. We think it’s fair to say that this is probably the most adjustable downhill bike that we’ve ever seen. The travel can be adjusted between 170 and 240mm, and you can adjust the head angle, but the truly unique adjustment is the ability to be able to run either one or two rear shocks. With just one shock fitted the bike is a relatively simple single pivot design, but then if you’re riding a track with a name along the lines of ‘Gnarl Central’ you can bolt in the second shock to up the travel and bring the second pivot into action which provides a more rearward axle path for those big hits. Pretty crazy hey. Stay tuned to see if it works…
